How long will my results last?
There are too many variables to say for certain. Some factors that can affect the length of your results include lifestyle choices and the consumption of certain medications. Basically, if you resume the behaviors that stained your teeth in the first place, your results will not last as long as they could.
At-home whitening products like trays and strips can last up to six months.
Professional teeth whitening can last up to one year.
The Opalescence Go system relies upon ready-to-wear disposable trays. The percentage of the active ingredient, hydrogen peroxide, is displayed on the package.
Bleach Gel: Uses carbamide peroxide. The number displayed on the label shows the carbamide peroxide percentage concentration. Carbamide peroxide breaks down into hydrogen peroxide. The percentage of hydrogen peroxide is one-third that of the carbamide peroxide concentration. So, for example, 45% carbamide peroxide is about 15% hydrogen peroxide gel.
